NFL Power Rankings Week 6
Oh my goodness, oh my goodness; a lot of changes in the top 10 power rankings AGAIN! No clear leader in either the AFC or NFC AND no more unbeaten teams. However, the bottom 5 seem to stay consistent, good for you guys! I am going to start adding a number (4) in parentheses next to the team to show their previous week's ranking and I am going to add teams dropped from the top 10 as well. Now lets take a look at the NFL's Top 10 and that lowly Worst-of-the-Worst Bottom 5.
Top 10
1.(1) Ravens (4-1) They put a 31-17 beat down on the Broncos and are looking consistant week-in and week-out.
2.(2) Steelers (3-1) They were on a BYE and I'm not going to penalize them for not playing. Plus they get Rothlisberger back.
3.(10) Falcons (4-1) Whoa, what calls for the jump? They are 4-1 and are looking like the Falcons from two years ago.
4.(3) Bears (4-1) Yeah, they are 4-1 but they have won UGLY! Doesn't help that Todd Collins is under center.
5.(8) Jets (4-1) They kept that 'Fantasy Football-esk' Vikings' offense in check and put up 29pts of their own.
6.(5) Texans (3-2) Still have a good offense but looked vulnerable in the loss to the G-Men. Patch up that secondary!
7.(7) Patriots (3-1) Randy Moss is out of town BUT they traded to get Deion Branch back from the Seahawks.
8.(2) Saints (3-2) The Saints lost the the Cardinals. That is why they dropped from #2... enough said.
9.(6) Packers (3-2) The injury bug has come to town and is wreaking havoc in Green Bay. Matt Flynn may get the green light.
10.(unranked) Eagles (3-2) With Mike Vick coming back against his former team could you ask for more?!
Dropped: Chiefs (3-1)
Bottom 5
5. Lions (1-4) They got a win! But, they will need a few more to get out of the bottom 5.
4. Browns (1-4) If Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace both with ankle issues aren't healthy, rookie Colt McCoy is going to start.
3. 49ers (0-5) They literally find ways to lose games. It's not Alex Smith or Frank Gore... it's Singletary and his joke of a D.
2. Panthers (0-5) Time to spin the QB wheel to see who starts for them this week. Why not give Tony Pike a shot?
1. Bills (0-5) Put up a lot of points but still lost to the Jags. Tail spin in a tough AFC East = 1st overall draft pick.
