Top 5 Fantasy TE [Sleeper/Bust]

When drafting a Fantasy Football team it's always important to know what players can get the the most points constantly. Of course every year there are the 'sexy' RB or WR picks that go early and are on the cover of all the FF magazines and ESPN; but, who really is your best bet? Now we take a look at those big guys in the trenches, that actually have hands AND can make or break your fantasy team every season! The Godfather's Top 5 Fantasy TE 1. Dallas Clark, IND - Still the number one FF TE year after year. He the two-time-MVP's go to guy on any given play and always looked at as the best check down option. AND Clark's catches are increasing from 58rec in 2007, 77rec in 2009 and 100rec last season! I have no reason to believe that his numbers shouldn't mirror the last couple of seasons. Perhaps with the emergence of Pierre Garcon, Clark's receptions may drop a tad but he will still be the guy Manning looks at deep in the red zone. ROUND: Ealy to mid...

Top 5 Fantasy WR [Sleeper/Bust]

When drating a Fantasy Football team it's always important to know what players can get the the most points constantly. Of course every year there are the 'sexy' RB or WR picks that go early and are on the cover of all the FF magazines and ESPN; but, who really is your best bet? Lets talk about those loud and proud pass catchers... The Godfather's Top 5 Fantasy WR 1. Andre Johnson, HOU - Is this even a question? This receiver constantly produces at the higest level year in and year out. He averaged an astounding 14.5ypc the last three seasons and always hits double digit fantasy pointsevery week! He is one of the few WR I would say take before you draft a second tier running back. And now that rookie RB Ben Tate is seriously hurt that means that once agian head coach Gary Kubiak will lean on Johnson and his sticky hands to lead the offense. ROUND: Early to mid 1st 2. Reggie Wayne, IND - His is one guy that prays daily that Peyton Manning never gets hurt. T...

Top 5 Fantasy RBs [Sleeper/Bust]

When drafting a Fantasy Football team it's always important to know what players can get the the most points constantly. Of course every year there are the 'sexy' RB or WR picks that go early and are on the cover of all the FF magazines and ESPN; but, who really is your best bet? The Godfathers Top 5 Fantasy RBs 1. Adrian Peterson, MIN - It's amazing how quick everyone can jump off one bandwagon to another! EVERYONE has TEN RB Chris Johnson at their #1 RB and overall #1 spot, but not me, I like AP here. Peterson has averaged 1,495 rushing yards and 13.3 touchdowns a season! Yes, ball security was a issue in the playoffs but I don't see that as a problem during the regular season. Also, with Chester Taylor in Chicago look for AP's carries to possibly increase with only rookie Toby Gerhart and a sub-par Ryan Moats behind him on the depth chart. ROUND: 1st overall to early 1st 2. Chris Johnson, TEN - Don't get me wrong, I like CJ quite a bit but, I am wor...

Top 5 Fantasy QBs [Sleeper/Bust]

When drating a Fantasy Football team it's always important to know what players can get the the most points constantly . Of course every year there are the 'sexy' RB or WR picks that go early and are on the cover of all the FF magazines and ESPN; but, who really is your best bet? The Godfathers' Top 5 Fantasy QBs 1. Aaron Rogers, GB - Sure, everyone is hot on Saints' QB Drew Brees... and why not? He won the Super Bowl and has a hot passing offense, but I don't like him at #1. Rogers as a lot, and I mean a lot, of targets at TE/WR/RB. Last year he threw 35TD to ONLY 7INT! This can only improve in his third year at the helm of the Packers. ROUND: Mid to late 1st 2. Peyton Manning, IND - You want to talk about consistency? Manning is the captain of it. In the last three seasons he has averaged at 32TD a year, sure he threw 16INT but Manning was always scoring in mid double digit points week in and week out. The only REAL downside to Peyton is weeks 14-16, w...
