Godfather of Sports Mock Draft 2 (Tag line: this time it's personal)

That awful 80s action movie tag line aside it's time for me to put out my second mock draft. I know people by the dozens, maybe dozens and a half have been waiting for this with mild to moderate anticipation. A bunch of new team picks and even some possible trades... (what a teaser)This would have been out sooner but the old laptop is on it's last legs.

1. Titans (2-13) Larmey Tunsil, offensive tackle, Ole Miss
I still think he is the best bet and the safest bet with the first overall pick. And with last years first rounder, Marcus Mariota, and new running back DeMarco Murray lining up behind this line, they will need to protect their assets with the help of Tunsil.

2. Browns (3-13) Joey Bosa, defensive end, Ohio State University
No quarterback eh? That's right. One, the Browns came out and said they maybe content with Josh McCown again. Two, the Browns got a deal done with Robert Griffin III. Three, Cleveland needs as many name brand players as they can get.

3. Chargers (4-12) DeForest Buckner, defensive end,  Oregon
Signing receiver Travis Benjamin from Cleveland kept this from being an offensive pick. Buckner can help revamp a Chargers' front seven that was less than impressive in 2015.

4. Cowboys (4-12) Jalen Ramsey,  safety,  Florida St University
Dallas just signed former Redskin Alfred Morris, so no Ezekiel Elliott here. Also, there are rumbles out of Dallas that Ramsey is their man if he is available to them. He could fit well in this organization.

5. Jaguars (5-11) Myles Jack, linebacker, UCLA
The Jags did some serious damage in free agency, RB Chris Ivory, DL Malik Jackson, and SS Tashaun Gibson. Jack is going to be the final piece to a new and much stronger Jacksonville defense.

6. Ravens (5-11) Ronnie Stanley, offensive tackle, Notre Dame
Losing Kelechi Osemole to Oakland was a hit to the Raven's line. But, Stanley is a stout three year starter that can play at either tackle spot. Baltimore needs to keep Joe Flacco healthy and keep backups like Jimmy Clausen (now FA, wonder why) off the field.

7. 49ers (5-11) Carson Wentz, quarterback, North Dakota State
Even if Chip Kelly has Colin Kaepernick on the roster come draft day he still goes quarterback here. If we learned anything from Philadelphia, he is going to strip this organization down and rebuild to his liking. Wentz over Jared Goff do to his mobility and ability to throw on the move well.

8.Eagles [from MIA](7-9) Vernon Hargreaves III,corner, Florida
The Eagles need an upgrade in their secondary and this maybe the ticket. Hargreaves is many one of the best pure athletes in this draft. He can contribute right away as a number two corner or at nickel.

*FAKE TRADE ALERT: Bears trade a 3rd & 5th to the Buccaneers to swap 1st round picks and receive a 6th rounder*

9. Bears [from TB](6-10) Jared Goff, quarterback, California
Chicago goes for their QB of the future and trade up to do so. It's been too long that Jay Cutler is just assumed to be the starter while he throws interceptions like a boss. Goff started his career at Cal as a true freshman and has already been through some tough times and was able to become a leader. Great pocket passer. He can light a fire under Cutler's ass and then eventually take his job.

10. Giants (6-10) Ezekiel Elliot, running back, Ohio State

If the Cowboys and Ravens pass on him the G-Men will pounce at the chance to get their now franchise running back. New York hasn't had a "franchise back" since... Brandon Jacobs?  Eh.... let's say Tiki Barber.

11. Buccaneers[from CHI](6-10)Shaq Lawson, defensive end, Clemson
Tampa doesn't have the best of luck with ends from Clemson... *cough* but, with all their new free agent acquisitions Lawson should be able to give them at least +/- six sacks. Especially teamed up Robert Ayers and Gerald McCoy; this could be a formidable defensive line.

12. Saints (7-9) Reggie Ragland, linebacker, Georgia
Ragland teaming up with James Laurinaitis could be dangerous. While both may play new positions within that LB core, they both have similar playing styles, very aggressive and always up field.

13. Dolphins [from PHI](6-10) Jack Conklin, offensive tackle, MSU
Maybe the last piece to bring this offense away from mediocrity? They are in need of a running back as well but this maybe a bit high for Derrick Henry.

*FAKE TRADER ALERT: Lions trade 4th and a 5th and receive a 6th to switch picks with the Raiders*

14. Lions(7-9)[from Raiders] Laquan Treadwell, receiver, Ole Miss
Seems logical because it is. Though it will be like replacing a Ferrari with a Kia Rio. Treadwell is the best receiver in the draft, yes, but he is not Calvin Johnson. But, I will imagine that if he is still available toward their oick they will reach out to get him.

15. Rams (7-9) Shilique Calhoun, linebacker, MSU
Rams are still a mystery to me. They could go quarterback here. They could go anything here. Calhoun fits the bill as a lackluster replacement for James Laurinaitis.

16. Raiders [from Lions] (7-9) A'Shawn Robinson, tackle, Alabama
At the 16 spot he is a steal. Oakland plays a 3-4 so he will move from tackle to end. Which should work for Robinson who has quick hands a get off off of blocks well. Could be an every down kind of end.

17.  Falcons (8-8) Robert Nkemdiche, defensive tackle, Ole Miss
The run on defensive players continue. He can play at end on regular downs and nose on passing downs. He has a... interesting past, so, a mild character gamble here.

18. Colts (8-8) Kevin Dodd, linebacker, Clemson
The loss of Jerrell Freeman is a huge problem. He was a tackling machine and a leader on defense. While Dodd maybe a pick for need he is also a great value pick as well. He won't play at the inside linebacker spot but will help on the edge and in pass coverage.

19. Bills (8-8) Darren Lee, linebacker, Ohio State University
First hand inside sources say the Bills are looking at front seven for the first pick. (Record breaking first hand information from me in a long time) Darren Lee can rush, can cover and could be molded into a great outside backer in brother Rex's defense.

20. Jets (10-6) Paxton Lynch, quarterback, Memphis
Geno Smith is not the answer at quarterback. And there isn't any movement the Jets in resigning Ryan Fitzpatrick. Lynch is a great runner. And maybe able to do more than Conor Cook could do for a NY team in need of a QB of the future.

21. Redskins (9-7) Ryan Kelly, center, Alabama
They better find people to help protect their new franchise quarterback in Kirk Cousins. Kelly can play center and both guard spots.

22. Texans (9-7) Andrew Billings, defensive tackle, Baylor
While Houston loaded up with offense in free agency they need to give J.J. Watt some help on the defensive line. Billings would make an excellent edition because he can make plays in the backfield and maybe take some of the heat off of Watt.

23. Vikings (11-5) Corey Coleman, receiver, Baylor
Minnesota has had a lot of luck in the draft in recent years (minus Christian Ponder.) They adressed a lot of their needs in free agency but need to get a receiver to pair up Stefon Diggs and Kyle Rudolph. Coleman is already being vetted by the Rams and Browns.

24. Bengals (12-4) Josh Doctson, receiver, TCU
A.J. Green is the only real receiver left on their roster going into the draft. Doctson can replace what Cincy lost in free agency and then some.

25. Steelers (10-6) Jeremy Cash, safety, Duke
Pittsburgh could also go corner here as well in Eli Apple from OSU but Cash is a real ball player. He likes to play in the box and likes contact. The Steelers haven't had a guy like this in their secondary sense Troy Polamalu was healthy, so... 2006?

26. Seahawks (10-6) Taylor Decker, offensive tackle, Ohio State
Losing Russel Okung was a big deal for Seattle's offense. Decker can play and maybe start at left tackle for Pete Carol this year. Added bonus is that he is used to blocking for a mobile QB.

27. Packers (10-6) Leonard Floyd, linebacker, Georgia
He was a freak at the combine, and two playoffs teams in the Jets and the Pats are taking serious stock in him. He is defiantly a project player but can, and most likely will, work his way to a starting outside linebacker with the Pack.

28. Chiefs (11-5) Sheldon Rankins, defensive tackle, Louisville
Rankins played tackle for the Cards in college but would make a solid end in the Chiefs defense. He is solid on the rush and on the pass. And KC can use some youth in that front seven.

29. Cardinals (13-3) Hunter Henry, tight end, Alabama
A lot of people are looking at them taking a QB here but I can't imagine them passing up on such a solid TE for Connor Cook. Yes, Carson Palmer is 36 but they can make it one more year with him at the helm.

31. Broncos (12-4) Connor Cook, quarterback, MSU
They had to wait till 31 to get a QB but Cook and Mark Sanchez will most likely be the two 'starting quarterbacks' going into 2016. Cook is a pure passer with great arm strength. If they didn't need to fill so many holes after their free agency fall out I would say they would trade up. But, they need all the picks and players they can get.
