Bulldogs verses Eagles, Elephants against Bulldogs & Leprechauns fighting Ibises!

And just like that it's Week 11 in college football. F*%^ that was fast! Upside, this weekend has a great slate of games.... how generic...

*Take 2*

Upside, the weekend has some real smash mouth football... ugh. What am I Madden 2001?

*Take 3*

Upside, there are tons of games this weekend that will kick your respective d*&% in! (That's more like it) And it's nice to see some programs like Georgia, Miami, and Wisconsin back in the Top 10 and have the Duke of college football, Ohio State, at #13! It was hard to pick just three games because pretty much any ranked matchup this weekend is worth a watch.

1. #1 Georgia [-2.5] (9-0) at #10 Auburn (7-2) 3:30pm CBS- Georgia and Miami can thank the football gods for finally being matched with the right head coach. ANY Bulldog fan will tell you how happy they are to have Kirby Smart on the sidelines. Now, also like Miami, the Bulldogs are taking flack for who they played. They have a big win over Notre Dame and laid a 31-3 beatdown on Mississippi St. What about the other games... well... Samford St, App St, Tennessee, Vandy, Mizzu, Florida and South Carolina = with a total 30-30 record. I mean, it's not a cake walk but the SEC isn't exactly what it used to be. Now, Auburn also boasts a 44-10 win over Mississippi St (yikes, is Miss St bad?) And there only two loses are 27-23 to LSU and 14-6 to Clemson, not to shabby. What does that mean for today? Georgia has an outstanding backfield with Sony Michel and Nick Chub who have a total of 1,577yds and 18TD on the ground. And Freshman QB Jake Fromm, who I think will be a future 1st round pick IE: Browns QB in 2020. But, Auburn packs a punch with back Kerryon Johnson (15TD) and receiver Ryan Davis. I can continue to spit stats, players and records but... that s*&% is boring. The Bulldogs defense is 3rd in the country (oops another stat) and I think this is the game where they put the country on notice that Georgia is back. It won't be a blow out and it's going to be close but I think Georgia is for real.

Georgia-28 Auburn-24

2. #2 Alabama [-14] (9-0) at #16 Mississippi State (7-2) 7pm ESPN- This won't be so much of a game as it will be a beat down. But, I picked this game to talk about Bama's dominance. Year in and year out the Crimson Tide are in the Top 5, put dozens of players in the NFL and take home SEC/National Title hardware. How? Nick Saban. He loves to coach (especially the secondary), he loves the recruiting game, and doesn't let ANYTHING slide with his staff or players. Because of this (and practically unlimited funding by boosters), he can create a college football machine. Sometimes when a team's starting corner goes down or left tackle gets hurt they are in trouble. However, the Crimson Tide have so much depth that that senior guard can be replaced by a sophomore 5 star recruit waiting his turn. The only way Bama will ever fall out of the top ten and title consideration is when Coach Saban hangs his headset up for good. All that being said...

Alabama- 34 Miss St- 13

3. #3 Notre Dame [-3.5] (8-1) at #7 Miami (8-0) 8pm NBC- Interesting that all the away teams were favored in Vegas this week... odd. We all know this is the game that I have been waiting to talk about. It's college game day and the game of the week for a reason. AND errrrbody wants to know "Are the Canes for real?" First off, I am not going to be bias. Second, a lot of Miami and Notre Dame "fans" are suddenly popping up. I f*&%ing loathe bandwagon fans. These people glop onto whatever team is hot, act like they "have been life long fans," are the loudest after wins and cause the most ruckus after a loss. They are easy to spot, they typically use the word "man" a lot ("Maaaaan, they need to pass ball.") Their apparel is fresh and clean, it may even have a store tag or sticker still on it, and know close to nothing about the team. Watch closely as they try to fit in by saying things like "Mannn, he's been on fire all season man" and "Maann, why do they keep runnin' the ball?!" Whoops... back on track. This isn't Catholics verses Convicts. Miami isn't that school anymore and it took years to change from that program into what Mark Richt is leading onto the field tonight. Yes, they have the turnover chain but, they don't have off the field issues, they graduate at a higher rate, they don't throw fists on the field and they WIN close games. On the other side of the field The Fighting Irish are lead by JR QB Brandon Wimbush. Who is a sight to see on the field amassing 1,287yds, 11Td and 2INT in the air and 634yds and 13TD on the ground. Lets wrap this up! IF Miami QB Malik Rosier can get big plays against Notre Dame's 84th ranked pass defense and Miami keeps Wimbush contained then it's a Canes win. IF Notre Dame forces Rosier to make quick throws (which always lead to picks) and then capitalize on the turnovers then it will be a Fighting Irish victory.

Notre Dame- 23 Miami- 25
