NFL Power Rankings (Week 4)

The things I would write about the replacement refs would be so graphic and profane that my blog would be shut down by the FBI so... I will keep those comments to myself. But, one thing we have learned through 3 weeks with these refs is that no matter how long the game, no matter how many miss-calls or officiating blunders there is... America will still tune in to watch the National Football League. This league is an ironclad Juggernaut and it will take more than a ref strike to stop us from tuning in week to week, so without further ranting here are your NFL Power Rankings going into Week 4:

1. Falcons (3-0): Matty Ice is playing smarter than any QB in the league. But, the Turner DUI may change their ground game plans...

2. Texans (3-0): We all saw this coming. And with their division looking well below sub-par the Texans are in for a good season.

3. Cardinals (3-0): And we also all saw this coming... not really. The franchise's best start since 1974, good job Cards!

4. Ravens (2-1): The first of the one loss teams. They have the best RB in the league in Rice who ran over the Pats last week.

5. Giants (2-1): I watched them first hand choke-slam Carolina on both sides of the ball. They looked good. Period.

6. 49ers (2-1): They made Christian Ponder look like a stud as they fell to the Vikings. This was just a small misstep. Maybe.

7. Seahawks (2-1): I have never seen a pass rush like that. Controversial endings or not, Russel Wilson looks solid.

8. Bengals (2-1): Cards, Hawks and the Bengals in the top 10! Dalton and AJ Green are one of the best QB-WR pairs in the NFL.

9. Eagles (2-1): So, Andy Reid gave a 'BS' Vick endorsement. Who would you going to start Andy? Jaws and Cunningham are retired!

10. Jets (2-1): We had a Tebow sighting in this game. Most likely why they won in my opinion. #SarcasticGatorChomp

Bottom 5

5. Colts (1-2): Andrew Luck is every that was promised but this is a VERY YOUNG team with a lot to learn still. Baby steps Indy.

4. Titans (1-2): They have the most points allowed through 3 weeks and Chris Johnson is looking... rough to say the least.

3. Panthers (1-2): The Giants tore them apart at home. They need a lot of changes if they want to play to their 'potential'... which is a coach's most favorite word.

2. Saints (0-3): The Saints haven't been in the bottom 5 since Aaron Brooks *shutter* was under center for them. With so many problems swirling around this team they may have a hard time JUST concentrating on the playing 60 minutes of football week to week.
1. Browns (0-3): They have a permanent parking place in the bottom 5. Despite Trent Richardson playing well this team is still the just the Browns (AKA a giant punchline and everyone's "Homecoming Game") and no 1,000yd rusher will change it (SEE: Peyton Hillis 2010.)
