NFL Power Rankings Week 14
It has been a long time over due. Once again a flurry of work, the holidays and much much more have kept me from doing this. Sorry to my three fans that I may have lost in the shuffle. A lot has happened since my last post, the Bears remembered how to play football, the Falcons took a hold of the NFC and Josh McDaniels, Brad Childress and Wade Phillips are without a job. Now lets take a look at the NFL's Top 10 and that lowly worst-of-the-worst Bottom 5.
Top 10
1. Falcons (10-2) They had a tough time with divisional opponent Tampa Bay but squeaked out a win and hold a big NFC South lead.
2. Patriots (10-2) Wow, they dismantled the Jets. I thought it would have been closer. I was wrong. Pats are good again.
3. Eagles (8-4) During the Thursday game they took it to a very good Texans team. But, we all know it's all Vick. Period.
4. Steelers (9-3) In a low scoring affair between the Ravens (stocking) broken nose and all Ben lead them to another win.
5. Bears (9-3) What?! Last time I checked Jay Cutler was going to get run out of Illinois by a mob a drunk Bear fans...
6. Jets (9-3) Oh boy... they got their clock cleaned by the Pats, it will be interesting to see how they rebound off such as loss.
7. Saints (9-3) In arguably the best conference in the NFL they are still alive between the leading Falcons and 2GB Bucs.
8. Packers (8-4) Please never wear those uniforms ever again. But, it's going to be a close MVP race between Rogers and Vick.
9. Jaguars (7-5) Whoa, whoa, whoa! Yeah, they are winning and leading the Colts in the AFC South. Simply astounding.
10. Chiefs (8-4) In and out of the top 10 but if they keep at this pace they can get into the playoffs winning the AFC West!
Bottom 5
5. Broncos (3-9) Despite Kyle Orton having a good year the Broncos are just flat out poor on defense and special teams.
4. Lions (2-10) If you watched this team you would think no way they only have two wins. But, they do...
3. Bills (2-10) Now, on the other hand the Bills having two wins equals a new residence... lets say L.A.?
2. Bengals (2-10) How disappointing. Chad and TO aren't enough to push this team and Carson Palmer is just HORRIBLE this season!
1. Panthers (1-11) #1 overall pick anyone? The first win at Bank of America in a long time was VT over FSU in the ACC championship game.
