NFL Power Rankings Week 3
Well, I go to see the Buccaneers go 2-0, then get steamrolled by the Steelers. 2-14 AHOY! But, the Top 10 and 5 worst really haven't shifted that much, other than a few scrambles here and there. And of course who didn't have KC starting off 3-0? Now let's take a look at the NFL's Top 10and that lowly Worst-of-the-Worst bottom 5.
Top 10
1. Saints (2-1) I am not going to eject them from #1 after a good game with NFC South rival Atlanta. Still Super Bowl Champs.
2. Bears (3-0) WHOA! Jump from 7-to-2 but it's hard to keep them down when they are undefeated and Jay Cutler is looking solid.
3. Steelers (3-0) They made all the Bucs' walk the plank in an old fashioned Steelers way, DEFENSE!
4. Colts (2-1) Didn't move up, didn't move down. Which Peyton Manning this team is always a top 5 pick.
5. Packers (2-1) Slight fall from grace at #2 but they killed themselves with penalties in their MNF loss to the Bears.
6. Texans (2-1) The Cowboys needed a win and the Texans just weren't ready. They better hope Andre Johnson gets better fast.
7. Jets (2-1) Big time division win over a big time opponent. Mark Sanchez was outstanding with 256yds and 3TD.
8. Bengals (2-1) It was ugly but it was raining and the Panthers are just SO bad, it's almost hard to play them.
9. Dolphins (2-1) Well no Revis Island in this game but the Jets secondary and front 7 contained the Fins' offense.
10. Chiefs (3-0) I feel like I am dreaming. KC is looking good. Matt Cassel played like his contract's worth [finally.]
Bottom 5
5. Jaguars (1-2) They better start winning and fast or they are going to become the next L.A. franchise.
4. Browns (0-3) Can you name anyone on that Browns' defense? Anyone?
3. Panthers (0-3) John Fox better get a miracle before he is run out of Charlotte.
2. 49ers (0-3) They fired their OC but will that be enough to score more than 12.6 points per game.
1. Bills (0-3) Trent Edwards is out of town. Chan Gailey is in over his head. The only spark is C.J. Spiller.
